Vice President of Operations

Position Summary:
Expectations:

Estimated weekly commitment: 10-15 hrs/week

Regularly scheduled meetings:
-
Weekly Executive Committee meeting (1.5 hrs)

Biweekly one-on-one with ED/CEO (1 hr)

Recruiting and screening new volunteers across the organization
-
Partnering with the Executive Committee on volunteer governance, ensuring we have the most critical skills available and any gaps filled
-
Coordinating professional development training sessions for all volunteers
-
Direct collaboration with other VPs to advance top priority initiatives and tasks
-
Development and management of a volunteer team responsible for HR and Development
-
Strategic planning and goal setting developed in conjunction with the Executive Committee
-
Represent oSTEM with professional behavior consistent with our mission and core values

Adhere to oSTEM’s Code of Conduct and organizational bylaws applicable to all volunteers within the organization

Share in an equal legal and fiduciary responsibility for oSTEM with the other Executive Committee members
